Cherry Blossoms

Photographing the cherry blossoms yesterday had me reflecting on the brevity of life. Such beauty and splendour but so short lived.

Doing touristy things in the Scottish Borders - an area I've spent very little time in so far. We visited Scott's View overlooking the valley of the River Tweed. This was one of Sir Walter Scott's favourite views and a place that he came to reflect.
Colours in Perthshire as the sun came up. This really is one of the best parts of Scotland to visit in Autumn. I'm really hoping this weekend's storm doesn't blow it all away.
