The Pentlands

We’ve visited Eastside Cottages in the Pentlands a couple of times in the last 18 months. It’s close enough to Edinburgh to fit in city activities but based right in the hills for all those outdoor adventures. The hills aren’t big but there are several of them and they make the perfect training/ playground for kids.

Unsurprisingly, creativity has been a bit hard to come by this year. This day didn’t look that inviting for photography or walking but we did both and both were balms for our souls.
