I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the recent Taylor Dance Show - EVOLVE and what a joy it was to witness! After months of dedication, hard work, and countless rehearsals, these talented dancers took to the stage and absolutely lit it up.

One of the most moving moments of the show was Me and My Shadow, featuring a number of young students from the school alongside father figures who generously volunteered countless hours of practice in the months leading up to the performance. It was a touching and heartfelt highlight that brought more than a few tears to the eyes of the audience.

But it wasn’t just the younger dancers who left an impression—the adult performers were just as incredible. Taylor Dance offers a wide variety of adult classes, from ballet to jazz, and watching these dancers take the stage with such confidence and joy was deeply moving. What power in choosing to step outside your comfort zone and perform simply for the love of it.

There's something so inspiring about seeing young people come together and share their passion. It was a reminder of the power of creativity, movement, and community. Every leap, twirl, and smile was full of energy and heart, and I feel so lucky to have captured those moments.
